A red-haired princess loses her family and her kingdom… Now she must gather her Dragon Warriors for an epic fight to protect those she loves!

Princess Yona lives an ideal life as the only princess of her kingdom. Doted on by her father, the king, and protected by her faithful guard Hak, she cherishes the time spent with the man she loves, Su-won. But everything changes on her 16th birthday when tragedy strikes her family!

Yona reels from the shock of witnessing a loved one’s murder and having to fight for her life. With her bodyguard Hak, she flees the palace and struggles to survive while evading enemy forces. Their journey leads them to a priest named Ik-su, who can see Yona’s future—one that includes four legendary Dragon Warriors!
Born on February 3 in Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan, Mizuho Kusanagi began her professional manga career with Yoiko no Kokoroe (The Rules of a Good Child) in 2003. Her series NG Life appeared in the magazines Hana to Yume and The Hana to Yume, published by Hakusensha in Japan. Yona of the Dawn was adapted into an anime in 2014 and again over a decade later to continue the story.
