Youth Crisis

What is the social condition of youth in modern society? This is the question taken up by this passionate and substantive book. The author argues that youth are at a crisis state. NANETTE J. DAVIS is currently a Visiting Professor at Western Washington University, and formerly she taught at Portland State University. She has published extensively in the areas of prostitution, abortion, homeless youth, and battered women as well as contributed theoretical pieces on issues of the politics of violence and sexual deviance. She is the author of numerous books including From Crime to Choice: Transformation of Abortion in America (Greenwood Press, 1985) and editor of Prostitution: an International Handbook on Trends, Problems, and Policies (Greenwood, 1993).
