About Saljuqi Nasruddin

Nasruddin Saljuqi was born in Herat Afghanistan. Following his degree in literature from Kabul University he worked in the Ministry of Telecommunications as planning director. He was drafted to the administrative section of the Afghan general consulate in Iran. He is an art performer and also introduced Afghan culture to Irish society in a number of cultural events such as exhibitions and talks. Saljuqi compiled a number of artistic books such as music calligraphy and painting literature and folklore. As a chairperson of the Afghan community of Ireland and a member of the Ministerial council on Migrant Integration Saljuqi is actively involved in supporting Afghan refugees and asylum seekers and attended many governmental and NGO conferences in Ireland and in other European countries. His books brochures and newsletters have been published in Iran Afghanistan and Ireland and the last publication (From Dunbura to Guitar) is the Diaspora of the Afghan musicians which was published and launched in the Irish writers centre in 2014. He published another book titled (Afghanistan Through the Mirror) in 2015 and the book launched in Herat Afghanistan in October 2015.
