About Clive Holmwood

Dr Clive Holmwood PhD is a Dramatherapist with 25 years' experience and is an Associate Professor in the discipline of Therapeutic Arts at the University of Derby where he lectures and researches in the areas of drama therapy drama education play and creative expressive arts health and wellbeing. He holds a BA (Hons) in drama an MA in Educational Theatre a PG Diploma in Dramatherapy a PG Cert in Higher Education and a PhD in Education. He has worked as a drama practitioner since the late 1908's then as a dramatherapist since 1996 in the public and private sectors including the NHS and foster care.
