B66 BEAST QUEST: VOL4 NO1 NIXA
Nixa the Death-Bringer is a female Beast who first appeared in Series 4: The Amulet of Avantia. One of the Ghost Beasts who inhabits the Forbidden Lands of Avantia, not only can she turn into an incorporeal ghost form as the other Ghost Beasts can, she can also change her shape to imitate opponents and victims, as well as taking on pleasing forms to make hunting easier. The Death Bringer has a beautiful voice used to tempt prey to her, how she can also use it as a piercing weapon, causing disorientation and ears to bleed. While able to take on many faces, Nixa is horrified by her natural, tentacled form, notably this weakness wasn't featured in her fight, but is confirmed to exist. She is also highly vulnerable to high pitched noises, such as the sound of metal on rock. She was given part of the Amulet of Avantia to guard, and was also sent to recover another part of the Amulet when it vanished and was later found in the wheat fields of Errinel. Tom lost the power of the Golden Boots to Taladon after defeating Nixa.
