About Alcante

Alcante won a Spirou magazine script-writing competition in 1995. Since 2002 his short comics have been published regularly in Spirou. Pandora's BoxA is his first series. He is inspired by fairytales and legends from all over the world and his influences range from Jean Van Hamme to Alan Moore. Alain Henriet is a long-time fan of both European and American comics. In addition to working for Spirou magazine he drew the series John DoeA in 1996 and Golden CupA in 2003 before signing on for one volume of Pandora's BoxA in 2005.
