About Catherine Polan Orzech

Catherine Polan Orzech MA LMFT has taught mindfulness for over two decades. She is certified mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and mindful self-compassion (MSC) teacher; and is currently faculty in the departments of psychiatry and obstetrics and gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University where she's involved in research on mindfulness and women's health.Previously she served on the faculty at several leading mindfulness institutes including those at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia PA; the University of California San Francisco; and the University of California San Diego. Catherine currently lives in Oregon where she is a marriage and family therapist specializing in mindfulness-based psychotherapy.
