About Michele Hill

Michele Hill is based in Adelaide and is one of Australia's leading quilt designers. Her love of everything William Morris was sparked after a visit to the V&A and after retiring from nursing after 35 years she took up a new career that of keeping the 'genius of Morris alive'. She has since published two books on William Morris applique has four ranges of fabrics and more recently sold out her William Morris tours in the UK. In 2014 she received the highest accolade an Australian quilter can receive - The Rajah Award in recognition of her services to Australia through quilting.
