About Wendelin Van Draanen

Wendelin Van Draanen has been everything from a forklift driver to a high school teacher but is now enjoying life as a full-time writer. She is the author of Flipped Swear to Howdy and the popular Sammy Keyes mystery series the first book of which Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief received the 1999 Edgar Allen Poe Award for best children's mystery. Brian Biggs is an illustrator designer teacher graphic novelist and accordion player. His work has appeared in dozens of newspapers and magazines but Shredderman marks his debut in children's books. He lives with his wife and two children in Philadelphia. Ghada Mohamed Mahmoud is an English/Arabic translator whose previous works include translations of the Citizenship Series and Feelings Series as well as a number of other children's books including My Friend Rabbit and Where in the World.
