Hans Ulrich Obrist was born in Zürich in 1968. He was curator at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and has curated many international exhibitions. In 2006 he was appointed Co-Director of Exhibitions and Programmes and Director of International Projects at the Serpentine Gallery London.
