About Zhiguo Wang
Zhiguo Wang earned his PhD in cardiovascular pharmacology from the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences McGill University Canada. Currently he holds the positions of Chief Scientist and Professor at the Central Research Laboratories of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University China and serves as the President and Chief Scientist of Cachine Pharmaceutical Inc. China. With a prolific academic career he has authored 156 research articles in esteemed scientific journals contributed to 7 monographs and written 18 book chapters. Additionally he has served as an editor for 1 book published by reputable scientific publishers. His research interests span various domains including cardiovascular disease and pharmacology molecular pharmacology epigenetic polypharmacology longevity and anti-aging polypharmacology. Notably Wang is recognized as one of the pioneers in advancing the 'one drugmultiple targets' principle of polypharmacology a concept elucidated in his earlier research articles and his monograph 'Polypharmacology: Principles and Methodologies'. Furthermore he introduced the groundbreaking concept of Anti-aging Polypharmacology and advocates for a low-entropy lifestyle to foster healthy aging and longevity.
