About Janet Krauthamer

Janet Krauthamer holds a masters degree in occupational therapy from Columbia University. She is currently an MFA candidate in Writing for Children and Young Adults at Vermont College of Fine Arts. She lives in New York City USA with her husband and two kids. Christiane loves creating books that share her curiosity of the world and her strong interest in nature. Her playful artwork can be found in many non-fiction books picture and board books as well as in advertising and childrens products. Christiane is originally from Germany and now lives by the sea in Kent UK together with her family and one feisty tuxedo cat.
