About Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens (7 February 1812 - 9 June 1870) is considered the greatest novelist of the Victorian era and created many of the worlds most notable fictional characters including Fagin Mr Micawber and Miss Havisham. Henry Carl Kiefer (15 April 1890 - 10 May 1957) was born in Ohio and served in WWI. He started contributing to Classics Illustrated Comics in 1947 and went on to contribute to 34 issues.
