About Huw Lewis Jones

Huw Lewis Jones is a writer and teacher who loves wild nature. He creates books for adults about maps and explorers whilst for children its mostly been apples so far. With wife Kari and daughter Nell he lives in a little house in Cornwall though often spends his summers at the North Pole.Sebastien Braun was born in Strasbourg and studied art at University before becoming a professional illustrator. As a child he spent countless hours drawing he doodled in the margins of his school books and drew in his spare time on all sort of media including the walls at home! Over the years Seb has worked on a huge variety of commissions with distinguished authors including Allan Ahlberg Julia Donaldson and Sam McBratney. He enjoys using a wide range of techniques and styles from traditional watercolour and acrylic painting to ink drawings and digital media. Sebs studio is now piled high with the results  board books non-fiction titles and childrens picture books.
