For Tito Pacheco, a few hands of poker seems a good way to pass the timeuntil he is forced to kill one man to save another. Then he finds the body on the trail, and has a second gunfight in a town called Ivory Flats. About the time things seem as if they cant get any worse, Tito is hitched up to a team of kids and running for the sanctuary of Broken Spoke.
Baxter Puggot loved his kid brother. He vowed to see his brothers killer dead, by any means necessary, and he had a half-dozen men who could get the job done. Tito could run far and dig himself a deep hole, but Baxter swore he would root him out and see him dead.
Luke Mallory and the other men in Broken Spoke intend to stand by Tito, but it could mean a war against up to a dozen hardened bounty hunters. War meant bullets flying and some being hurt or killed and none of the people in the valley wanted that. Regardless, Luke knew they would stand by Tito. If Baxter Puggots gang came looking for a fight, he figured they would meet their Destiny at Broken Spoke!
