Dennis Taylor is an Honorary Research Fellow in the Music Department of Durham University in the UK. He is a retired music teacher in the secondary school sector. He specializes in the history of the Brass Band Movement and researches the various influences especially the Victorian and Romantic Period upon the bands and their composers.
