About Stephanie Stansbie

Stephanie Stansbie has been a childrens books editor since the 90s and an author since the noughties. She adores editing and writing in equal measure and has always worked on illustrated books where the art is as important as the word. The books she has written have been translated into over 15 different languages. Stephanie lives in Oxford and enjoys yomping about with her family and friends and playing capoeira. Loretta has illustrated a number of picture books and fiction titles for younger children. She has always loved drawing and is never happier than when shes making something. Loretta lives in London England with her archaeologist husband and her hamster studio buddy Nanook who assists with the creative process by staring really hard at her until she gives him a treat.
