About Stephen Brewer

Stephen Brewer is a book and magazine writer who spent a summer discovering Crete 30 years ago and has been returning ever since. While he's partial to the village of Vamos and the Lasithi Plateau on Crete he's never set foot on a Greek island that he doesn't like. He's also spent much time hiking around Olympia and Nafplion and exploring other parts of the Peloponnese as well as Athens.
