About Barbara Pause
Barbara Pause received her MS degree in Physics from the University of Leipzig Germany and her PhD degree in Engineering Science from the University of Wuppertal Germany. She started working on projects related to the phase change material PCM-technology in 1994 at the Technical University of Leipzig Germany. In 1997 she joined Outlast Technologies Inc in the US as Vice President Research & Development. In 2000 she founded the company Textile Testing & Innovation LLC. The company's operations are focused on the development and the test of products utilizing the PCM-technology. She holds several patents related to this technology. She has published more than 100 technical papers in scientific magazines contributed chapters to six technical books and gave presentations about her work at more than 50 conferences worldwide.
