About Jonathan Edwards

Jonathan Edwards (17031758) was a pastor theologian and missionary. He is generally considered the greatest American theologian. A prolific writer Edwards is known for his many sermons including Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God and his classic A Treatise Concerning Religious Affections. Edwards was appointed president of the College of New Jersey (later renamed Princeton University) shortly before his death. Sam Storms (PhD University of Texas at Dallas) is the founder and president of Enjoying God Ministries and serves on the council of the Gospel Coalition. Sam served as visiting associate professor of theology at Wheaton College and is a past president of the Evangelical Theological Society. He is the author or editor of 37 books and blogs regularly at SamStorms.org. Sam and his wife Ann are the parents of two daughters and grandparents of four.
