Emily Dickinson (1830 - 1886) was an American poet known for her simple works about love death and nature. Living in seclusion for most of her life she wrote over 1000 poems but only 11 were published during her lifetime. Today she is considered one of the most famous and beloved poets of all-time. Tim Hopgood is an award-winning picture book author and illustrator. Recently he has combined his love of music with his love of drawing to produce a series of picture books based on classic songs - eg What a Wonderful World and Singing in the Rain which received a starred Kirkus review and was named a Publishers' Association Best Book of 2017.
