About Raman Prinja

Raman Prinja has written several successful popular science books on astronomy and is keen to bring the excitement of the Universe to a wide range of ages. He was shortlisted for the 2015 Royal Society Young People Book Prize and was awarded the Children's Choice School Library Association Information Book Award in 2013.Raman Prinja is Professor of Astrophysics at University College London where he conducts research in stellar astrophysics and lectures to physics and astrophysics undergraduates. He has been awarded the Pol and Christiane Swings research prize by the Royal Academy of Belgium and is a multiple winner of the UCL Faculty and Department Teaching Awards.
