About Jonathan TummonsSharon Powell

Jonathan Tummons is associate professor and deputy head of the School of Education at Durham University UK. Jonathan researches writes and teaches in a variety of fields relating to higher further and professional education and his work has been consulted by qualification awarding bodies further education colleges  medical educators Ofsted and the OECD. Sharon Powell has worked at Teesside University since 2004 after working as a lecturer in teacher education in the FE sector. She is an adult literacy subject specialist teacher with specific expertise in this area and in training teachers to work with students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. In addition she has further expertise in the assessment of dyslexia and the delivery of teacher training/education programmes specific to working with dyslexic adults.
