About Sean Watermeyer
Dr. Watermeyer is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as well as a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He has been a consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital since 2007. Sean qualified as a doctor in 1990 and initially served in the RAF in the UK Germany and Bosnia completing his general practice training during that time. After leaving the forces and working as a GP Sean decided to retrain in obstetrics and gynaecology following the birth of his first son when he was unimpressed by the actions of the obstetric registrar looking after his wife and unborn child in labour. In addition to his NHS duties Sean carries out some private work at the Vale Hospital Hensol and The Centre for Reproduction and Gynaecology (CRGW) Llantrisant Nr.Cardiff - a highly regarded fertility unit.
