His research interests are in the areas of social stratification and mobility culture consumption and quantitative research methods. Lucinda Platt is Professor of Social Policy and Sociology in the Department of Social Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science UK. Her research focuses on migration and ethnic minorities poverty social stratification and mobility identities and longitudinal data collection and research. Bernhard Nauck is Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology at the Technishe Universitaet Chemnitz Germany. His research interests are in the areas of families international migration identities intergenerational transmission and longitudinal data collection and research. Helen Baykara-Krumme is Senior Researcher in the Department of Sociology at the Technishe Universitaet Chemnitz Germany.
