About Laura Payne

Originally from the West Country Laura now lives and works as a Speech and Language Therapist in South Yorkshire. Laura is passionate about communicative diversity and everyone's right to have their voice heard and valued. In 2019 she received the Giving Voice award from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists for her disability activism. It Doesn't Matter How We Talk is Laura's first book.
