Just Right For Two

English

By (author): Tracey Corderoy

Illustrated by: Rosalind Beardshaw

A little dog discovers that, sometimes, the best things in life are right under your nose.

Dog thinks he has everything he needs in his big, blue suitcase. It's perfect for all the little treasures he's collected, and he's sure that he doesn't need anything else to keep him happy.

But then, Dog meets Mouse and everything changes . . . Perhaps, after all, life is richer and more fun with a friend, and Dog's big blue suitcase is actually just right for two.

Heart-warming, gently told tale of an unlikely friendship, with exquisite artwork by Rosalind Beardshaw and a poignant message about opening yourself up to new experiences.

Tracey Corderoy is a multi-award-winning author and has written over 70 books for children, including the hugely successful Shifty McGifty series.

Rosalind Beardshaw is the illustrator of My Pet Star, which won the Sainsbury's Book Award and the Sheffield Baby Book Award.

About Tracey Corderoy

Tracey Corderoy (Author) Tracey grew up in South Wales on a council estate firmly sandwiched between the steel and chemical works. She's a trained teacher but now writes full-time in an old damp cottage in a valley in the woods. A multi award-winning author her first book was published in 2010 and in October 2021 her 72nd.Her passion for nosing into other people's 'stories' began in early childhood thanks to an ancient set of encyclopaedias and a Ladybird copy of Cinderella. Then one special teacher and many great librarians fed Tracey more and more books. Between their pages real magic started to happen. Impossible became plausible. Characters became friends. Boundaries became gates as slowly her world opened up. Books made her laugh and cry and think. They made her feel that maybe she could do things...Rosalind Beardshaw (Illustrator) Rosalind Beardshaw is the illustrator of several books for Nosy Crow including the bestselling When a Dragon Comes to Stay and I See the Moon. She loves creating new characters especially if they can be based loosely/wholly on her shaggy lurcher Basil. She lives in York with her partner Al daughter Iris and young son Freddie who loves watching Calamity Jane.
