About Blair MilanLyndey Milan
Lyndey Milan is an Australian media personality. For over 25 years she has been one of Australia's most recognised and respected food and cooking show personalities contributing to both TV and print media. She was a presenter on the channel 9 show Fresh and since 2011 has hosted no less than five television series' Lyndey Milan's Taste of Ireland Lyndey's Cracking Christmas Lyndey & Herbie's Moveable Feast Lyndey & Blair's Taste of Greece and the upcoming Lyndey Milan's Taste of Australia. Lyndey was Food Director for the Australian Women's Weekly for 10 years and is currently Vice President and Councillor of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW chair of the Sydney Royal Wine Show and was formerly founding Chair of the Fine Food. She is past President of the Australian Association of Food Professionals (formerly Food Media Club Australia) Wine Communicators Australia (formerly Wine Press Club) and sat on the Tourism NSW Food and Wine Advisory Committee for a decade. She is an Ambassador for Australia Day and judges for many industry organisations and works voluntarily for various charities including as co-Founder and Patron of Tasting Success a mentoring program for female chefs. Last year Lyndey won The Vittoria Legend Award at the Sydney Morning Herald's Good Food Guide 2012 awards and was named as a NSW finalist in the Hudson Private & Corporate Sector Award category of the Telstra Business Women's Awards. Lyndey was awarded the Order of Australia on Australia Day this year. Lyndey's previous TV shows have rated well internationally and it is expected for Taste of Australia to do the same.
