About Tony Ratcliff
Tony Ratcliff started life in the virtually derelict two up two down back to back houses of Hulme in Manchester at the beginning of the 1950's. He moved to Wythenshawe the garden city of Manchester in late 1957 with his parents and siblings. After getting married he lived in different areas of Greater Manchester including Langley and Harpurhey before returning to Wythenshawe with his now late wife and children.He later married his second wife Sara Ratcliff. Tony Ratcliff is also the author of Be Home Before it gets Dark Son and The Sky is my Witness it Saw it All which are his first two books of memoirs in short story form and also The Happy Man Who Writes the Songs a book of song lyrics and poems he has written over his lifetime.
