About Nikki Van De Car

Nikki Van De Car is the author of over a dozen books on crafting and magic including The Junior Witch's Handbook and The Junior Astrologer's Handbook and is a freelance book editor. This is her first picture book.Kiki Kita is a Brooklyn-based illustrator who grew up in Nagoya Japan and Dallas Texas. She studied illustration and art history at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and has a strong background in traditional mediums such as watercolor oil and acrylic painting though these days her work is primarily done digitally. When she is not drawing you can find her baking cakes and pastries or snuggling with her cat Jiji. Her work has been recognized by American Illustration and Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles.
