About Andrew Weale

Andrew Weale is an award-winning picture book author and poet. His Spooky Spooky House pop-up book (illustrated by Lee Wildish) was the overall winner of the Red House Children''s Book Award in 2013 (beating David Walliams'' Gangsta Granny) and Andrew has just won the prestigious Caterpillar Poetry Prize (judged by Brian Moses). He is also an actor and singer and much in demand for his highly successful school visits and talks at bookshops and international literary festivals from Imagine (on the South Bank) to Hay to Singapore.
