Non-Violent Resistance in Trauma-Focused Practice: A Systemic Approach to Therapy and Social Care

This book presents Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) for traumafocused care, adopting a systemic and traumaorientated approach to aggressive and selfdestructive behaviours in young people. Based on systemic therapy methods and principles in sociopolitical NVR, NVR targets aggressive and selfdestructive child behaviours in a relational way to help parents develop selfefficacy in responding to the problematic behaviour and grow a supportive community around the family.
