Martin Aitken (Translator) Martin Aitken has lived in Denmark for nearly 30 years. He is the acclaimed translator of numerous novels including work by Peter Hoeg Jussi Adler-Olsen and Pia Juul and has translated many short stories and poems. In 2012 he was awarded the American-Scandinavian Foundation''s Nadia Christensen Translation Prize.
