Co-editor of The Postcolonial Studies Reader (with Gareth Griffiths and Helen Tiffin) he is also co-author of The Empire Writes Back (also with Gareth Griffiths and Helen Tiffin) the first text to offer a systematic examination of the field of postcolonial studies.Gareth Griffiths is Emeritus Professor and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia. He is a pioneer in the field of postcolonial studies He has also written extensively on African literatures and theatre. He has authored and edited 15 books and more than a hundred articles and chapters.Helen Tiffin is Adjunct Professor at the University of Wollongong Australia.
