About Oksana Lushchevska

Oksana Lushchevska is a Ukrainian writer and translator. She is an active member of PEN UKRAINE and the author of fifty childrens and young adult books. Her books have been awarded a number of childrens literature awards including acceptance to the White Raven Catalogue and shortlisted for the BBC Childrens Book Award. Oksana has a PhD in Education and has taught childrens literature at the University of Georgia and served as a childrens literature consultant and a creative curator. Oksana lives in Vermont. Kateryna Stepanishcheva is a Ukrainian illustrator and textile designer. She has illustrated a number of childrens books and dozens of pieces for various childrens magazines for international markets. She adores Ukrainian calligraphy and linocut and lives in Kyiv Ukraine.
