This story is part of Reading Champion, a series carefully linked to book bands to encourage independent reading skills, developed with Dr Sue Bodman and Glen Franklin of UCL Institute of Education (IOE) Jake''s great granny is quite a person. She has many stories of her exploits during the second World War and is going to give a talk at Jake''s school.
