About David Catalan

David Catalan is the president of Catalan Consulting. Prior to establishing his consulting practice in April 2008 he was the executive director of the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands. David served as a cabinet member in the office of the former mayor of Omaha Hal Daub in the capacity of Director of Workforce Development for the City of Omaha. Before that he was executive director of the Omaha Press Club a private membership organization promoting excellence in journalism and press relations. David Catalan came to Omaha from Los Angeles in 1980 with the Union Pacific Railroad and served with the railroad in a variety of positions including government affairs and community relations until 1993.
