About Camille Helkowski

Camille Helkowski Med NCC LCPC has over thirty years of experience as a counselor clinical supervisor educator writer and presenter with extensive work in higher education in the arenas of administration counseling and supervision instruction program and project management. Currently she maintains a private counseling practice in Lincolnwood IL where she provides counseling services to individuals and couples around a broad spectrum of issues including relational concerns grief and loss healing from trauma career concerns across the life-span and special counseling needs of young adults. Helkowski has demonstrated her leadership abilities with a range of successful staff and student teams and is an acknowledged expert on the topics of young adult development and related transitions and career development throughout the lifespan. She is the co-author of several articles and books including: Connect College to Career: A Students Guide to Work and Life Transitions with Paul Hettich and The College Student Counseling Treatment Planner with Chris Stout and Art Jongma. She has also designed and taught Career Counseling for Pastoral Counselors for Loyola University Chicagos Institute of Pastoral Studies MPC program and graduate courses in career theory and counseling group counseling and practicum seminar for Argosy University Chicago. Additionally she is a highly regarded speaker trainer and group facilitator. She received her bachelors degree from DePaul University and her masters in counseling from Loyola University Chicago.
