About Pat-a-Cake

Pat-a-Cake takes you and your child on a magical journey. From sharing the very first baby book to watching your little one read all by themselves. The adventure begins here . . . Sarah is a freelance designer and illustrator living in her hometown of Sheffield with her husband and 'studio assistant' Alfie the border terrier. It was during her degree in Visual Communication that she began to take her illustration work onto the Mac and mix the two elements together. After a stint of training and working as a lithographic printer she then pursued her design background and went to work for Hallmark Cards as a Mac Designer for a number of years. It was then time for her next challenge and to take the leap into the world of freelance. She now works from her home studio for numerous clients around the world (under the watchful eye of Alfie of course!).
