The Adventures of Roobie & Radley and the Christmas Campervan Rescue

English

By (author): Catherine Brown

Illustrated by: Catherine Brown

It's almost Christmas in Westie Green and the snowflakes are falling. Nestled deep within the Highlands of Scotland lives an enchanting community of West Highland Terriers, the Westie Hutters. Roobie & Radley and their pet piglet Disco live at the Bones Bakery where the ovens are busy cooking up Yummytastic Bone Biscuits for Christmas. Grandpa Angus delivers these in his VW Campervan, but he also needs to call on their help. Finding reindeer in Westie Woods, a search to find Santa, and the Tree of Awesomeness all add to the ingredients, making this Magical Christmas Adventure almost as tasty as Grandma Soozie's Christmas pudding and its hidden treasure. But can the little trio help rescue Christmas? See more

About Catherine Brown

Catherine left school with only a handful of written qualifications. School didn't accommodate or suit her needs as a dyslexic. However if effort and determination had been recognised as achievements then she would have excelled. Never being prepared to take `no' for an answer she managed to move from leaving school at 16 as a hairdresser to a career spanning more than two decades as a police sergeant. Sadly her career ended after being injured in the line of her duty leaving her with a permanent disability to her foot. Looking for a purpose and reason to get out of bed each day she has returned to her childhood love of art. Tapping into her creative talents she has both written and illustrated her first children's book 'The Adventures of Roobie & Radley and the Christmas Campervan Rescue'. She has two West Highland Terriers and a VW campervan which both provided the idea and inspiration for her book.
