Edith Holden (1871-1920) was a British artist and teacher. In 1906 she recorded her observations about the countryside and seasons around her in an illustrated diary full of exquisite watercolour paintings. In 1977 her journal was re-discovered and published as The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.
