Something was wrong. Lori Hudson could feel it as soon as she set foot in The House of the Crying Winds, her Aunt Hannahs recently acquired hotel. But she had come to help her aunt run the place, and that was exactly what she meant to do!
Yet almost instantly Lori sensed that Aunt Hannah was no longer eager for her services. She also sensed there was something strange about the hotel guests, including Isabel Jessop, a self-styled actress no one had ever heard of, and Rex Fraser, a freelance photographer who could be surly one moment and utterly charming the next. And slowly Loris feelings of uneasiness grew. Then, as she began to unpack, a horrifying, scowling face leered at her through the window. With that, her days of terror had started in earnest.
