About Neil DuffieldRudyard Kipling

Rudyard Kipling Born in Bombay India in 1865 to British parents Kipling became one of the most popular authors in England during his lifetime. He went on to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1907. He was best known for his works of fiction which have become classics such as The Jungle Book (1894) and The Man Who Would Be King (1888). His poetry has also added to his reputation with Mandalay (1890) Gunga Din (1890) and his poem If - (1910) proving popular with subsequent generations. Neil Duffield Has written more than fifty plays and adaptations which have been staged extensively throughout Britain and abroad. In 2006 his play The Lost Warrior was awarded the Arts Council England Childrens Award ...for work which displays excellence inspiration and innovation in childrens theatre.
