The Last Chip

English

By (author): Duncan Beedie

Illustrated by: Duncan Beedie

Percy is a little pigeon, and he's very hungry. Life on the streets is tough, and every time he tries to get hold of a scrap of food, bigger, beefier birds bat him away. He's about to give up when someone offers him her very last chip.
A moving and uplifting story about struggle against adversity and the kindness of strangers.

10% of the profits from the sale of the book go to The Trussell Trust, supporting a network of 435 foodbanks across the UK.

About Duncan Beedie

Duncan is a freelance illustrator based in Bristol UK. He has been doodling and drawing since way back in the early 1980s lying on his parents' living room floor grasping a felt tip in his clammy little fist through to his current profession grasping a Wacom stylus in his clammy little fist. So not much has changed although he no longer lies on the floor to draw. He has a desk in a studio that overlooks the city. It's much more accommodating than nylon shag pile.
