About Lee SlaterSarah Bennett
Sarah Bennett grew up in Blenheim. It was a school class tramp in Nelson Lakes National Park that piqued her interest in the outdoors although she didn't get into tramping with any real vigour until she met Lee Slater while living in England. Lee Slater is an Essex lad first bitten by the rambling bug in the Highlands of Scotland the Yorkshire Moors and Peak District of England while at college and university. Sarah and Lee live in Wellington and remain avid trampers and campers. Together they have written Let's Go Camping (Random House 2009) and The Best of Wellington (Sarah Bennett Books 2008). Sarah is also co-author of Lonely Planet's New Zealand guide.
