About Jim Satterfield

Jim Satterfield is a wildlife biologist and has lived in Northeastern Montana for five years. He has a great love of the Missouri Breaks and has walked the same ground Sitting Bulls renegade Lakota traveled and hunted. Satterfield is a recipient of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association 2011 Zola Award for historical fiction. The Rivers Song is his first novel.
