As part of her schools community week, Kaitlyn visits her a local animal shelter. There she falls in love with Teddy, a gorgeous whippet cross, who becomes the star of her project.
But when a boy in her class watches Kaitlyns presentation and decides he wants to adopt Teddy, she realizes how much she wants to keep Teddy herself.
