About David Curtis

David Curtis was born in Bideford and grew up in Beaford twelve miles inland. He taught English in comprehensive schools in Swindon Blandford Forum and Thatcham and in a folkehogskole in Norway and he advised on teaching and the curriculum in the West Midlands. David and his wife live in Solihull. Their two children William and Hannah and their families live nearby. Cressida is a Devon based designer and has created lino cut prints to illustrate the poems in her distinctive characterful style. Gaining a degree in textile design at Camberwell School of Art Cressida's love of pattern and surface texture continues to enrich her work. She works mainly in two mediums lino for printmaking and precious metals for jewellery design. Freelancing for the luxury end of the market her work has exhibited at notable galleries and stores worldwide and at outlets locally. She draws inspiration from Devon's flora fauna architecture and landmarks.
