About Jeff Vinter

JEFF VINTER joined the Railway Society at the University of Exeter whilst studying History there and began exploring the West Countrys closed rail network. An ex-Chairman of Railway Ramblers and serving Trustee of the charity Railway Paths he has acted as consultant to a number of television series about disused railway lines most notably Along These Lines for Meridian and Railway Walks for BBC 2 and 4 as well as James Mays Toy Stories. His other books include the four-volume Railway Walks series.
