Visions and Illusions: Poems of love, loss and betrayal

These poems address their subjects through a Romantic lens unconstrained by formality but always with a human dimension and relevance to modern times. They are mostly rhymed, either strictly or sparsely, and some are lengthy enough to tell a story. Some poems are wistful or melancholic in nature, others address the beauty of life, light and darkness and tragedy or despair but do not omit the expressions of love and desire more eloquently expressed in poetry than in prose.
